Tricon Forfaiting Fund Limited (the "Fund") is an exempted open-ended investment company, incorporated for an unlimited duration with limited liability in Bermuda under the Companies Act 1981 of Bermuda, with registered number 29021.
The Fund is classified with the Bermuda Monetary Authority as an Institutional Scheme under Bermuda’s Collective Investment Scheme Classification Regulations 1998; with its registration carried forward under Bermuda’s Investment Funds Act 2006 (the "Act") which became effective in Bermuda on 7 March 2007 and repealed the Bermuda Monetary Authority (Collective Investment Scheme Classification) Regulations 1998. The Fund is registered as a segregated account company under Bermuda’s Segregated Account Companies Act 2000, and its investible shares were established as segregated accounts of the Fund on 10 September 2003. Since inception in October 2000, the Fund has continually managed over US$ 100 million in trade finance assets, including a portfolio managed for a major bank. |
